A tantalising note in the council’s latest ‘forward plan’ – the register of future decisions – reveals that next month the cabinet will consider a “proposal to enable the Thames footpath to be extended at Rotherhithe“.

Presumably this refers to the missing section close to the Hilton London Docklands hotel.
